Kadam (Neolamarckia Cadamba)
Neolamarckia cadamba, commonly called Kadam, is an evergreen, tropical tree native to South and Southeast Asia. It grows rapidly in the first 6 to 8 years. The glossy leaves are 13 - 32 cm long. The fruit of the tree can have 8,000 seeds. The flowering will begin in 4 - 5 years. The red-orange flowers are sweetly fragrant.
